JACOB LEIGH CALNEK SCHOLARSHIP

The first annual JACOB LEIGH CALNEK SCHOLARSHIP is a $500 cash bursary that will be awarded to a current graduating student.

PURPOSE
The Jacob Leigh Calnek Scholarship represents the values exemplified by Mr. Calnek, as teacher and Principal at Gladmar Regional High School, and his continued respect for the community and school spirit.

AWARD
The Scholarship will be awarded during graduating ceremonies each Spring.

ELIGIBILITY
  1. Applicants must be Grade 12 students graduating in the year the Scholarship is awarded.
  2. Applicants must be attending post-secondary school starting in the year the Scholarship is awarded.
  3. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
  4. Application must be received by the Principal of Gladmar Regional School no later than May 1.
